SCHURTER develops and manufactures switches and buttons with micro switches, piezo elements, switches with mechanical latching, metal buttons and keyboards, and display elements.

The latching and momentary action switches from the metal line of SCHURTER are extremely rugged, feature top quality and have an attractive design.

The piezo switches PSE have a high lifetime of 20 million operations and are hermetically sealed according to IP 69K. Available in different executions: Standard (PSE NO), prolonged signal (PSE IV), explosion proof (PSE EX) and extended protection (PSE HI).

The MSM range is available in momentary action and latching execution switch. They have IP-Protection IP67 from front side to contact area.

CPS switches are available with capacitive touch sensor as momentary push button (NO or NC) or as latching switch. Programming can be done on request. These switches are wearless, they have no moving parts.

In the shadow of the popularity of touchscreens, the membrane switch can often be somewhat underrated. Yet even the development of the membrane switch has not stood still in recent years. SCHURTER offers an integrated solution of a membrane switch with numeric display that is easy to mount and allow an overall thickness of less than 2 millimeters.

With the switch, a selection can be made while the value is read on a 7-segment display, the familiar seven dashes that together form the digital number 8. By equipping this display with SMD LEDs, many colours are possible and the flat overall construction of the membrane keypad requires only a few millimetres. For applications with a low installation depth, the membrane keypad should be as thin as possible. The big advantage of this integrated solution is the small space requirement."
