SCHURTER presented supercapacitors at the electronica trade fair

SCHURTER presented its latest product line at this year's electronica trade fair in Munich: high-performance, prismatic supercapacitors, or supercaps for short. The innovative energy storage devices were very well received by trade visitors and set new standards in the industry with a thickness of just 0.4 mm. SCHURTER thus offers the world's thinnest supercaps with high power density.

As part of a technology partnership with the leading manufacturer CAP-XX, SCHURTER is now developing, producing and selling supercaps. The product line comprises three different products in over 40 variants to start with, which have both a high energy density and a compact design.

The market launch of the supercaps follows soon. SCHURTER and CAP-XX are also planning to further develop the supercap technology together and to continuously expand the product portfolio with innovative supercaps.
