EcoVadis-Rating 2024

SCHURTER AG, headquarter of the SCHURTER Group, has received the bronze rating. The EcoVadis rating is an important tool that helps companies evaluate and continuously improve their sustainability performance.

EcoVadis is an independent platform that rates suppliers and service providers based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria. Globally across all industries.

Measuring sustainability performance

EcoVadis offers companies the opportunity to measure and compare their own sustainability performance. Through a rating, they thus receive an objective assessment based on internationally recognized standards. This enables them to identify strengths and weaknesses and take targeted measures to optimize them.

Significance in everyday business

A growing number of companies require their suppliers and partners to have an EcoVadis rating to ensure that they meet the required sustainability standards. A good rating can therefore facilitate access to new business opportunities and markets.

Transparency

The SCHURTER EcoVadis rating is published on a platform accessible only to registered users, allowing customers, investors and other stakeholders to view the company's sustainability performance. Transparency promotes and supports the development of a sustainable economy.

Sustainability demands commitment

Sustainability is today a global need. It is not a mandate that SCHURTER has to give to its group companies, but an expectation to actively address the issue.

Soon to be available: the complete family of 400 VDC connectors with housings based on regrowing plants (Green Plastics).

Sustainability Report of the SCHURTER Holding AG

For our Sustainability Report, we have oriented ourselves on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The 17 SDGs encompass 169 sub-goals for topics including the protection of the natural world to alleviating poverty.

In dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and in alignment with industry associations and expert opinions, we have identified essential topics and SDGs along our value creation chain. On this basis, the Sustainable Steering Committee has combined the topics into four dimensions which we will report annually. We defined concrete targets for the most relevant topics. Assessing our impact on the topic as well as the relevance for our stakeholders was key here.
