SCHURTER is looking for a new plant manager with experience in electronics. In this role you will be responsible for the smooth running of the operations in Germany and the on-time delivery of our customers. Process optimization and efficiency will be part of your daily business.

• Lead and oversee HMI operation (safety, quality, planning, production, industrial engineering)

• Support the design-ins in close collaboration with global sales to drive growth in customer projects

• Set short and long-term goals/directions to support the global HMI strategy

• Implement strategic initiatives (operational efficiency, quality, supply chain & cost reduction)

• Work close together with the other HMI production sites in NL/CZ/CN

• Foster an agile & customer centric culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration

• Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal/external stakeholders

• Provide leadership and guidance, driving engagement and accountability

• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

• University degree in business engineering, industrial management, or a related field

• Extensive experience in manufacturing management within a project-driven environment

• Proven leadership experience in a senior operational role with intercultural competence

• Strong track record in driving operational performance and continuous improvement

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach

• Data-driven decision-making skills and ability to optimize processes effectively

• Broad expertise in production technology and process management

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all level

• Independent working style with strong ownership and accountability for results

• Fluent in German & English
