SCHURTER is looking for a new team member of the operations leadership team with customer focus. In this role you will set the direction for the operational excellence and ensure cost-efficient production and on-time delivery to our customers.

• Ensuring the smooth running of the production facility

• Management and leadership of the plant

• Implement strategic initiatives (process optimization, operational efficiency & cost reduction)

• Planning, budgeting as well as setting performance targets and KPIs

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the company

• Support the operations footprint-strategy

• Driving engagement and accountability

• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

• University degree in mechanical and/or electromechanical engineering

• Broad experience of in manufacturing, supply chain management, component procurement

• Senior leadership role in a similar function with intercultural competence

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Hands-on mentality with data-driven decision making

• In-depth expertise in product technology and process technology

• Excellent communication with ability

• Independent working ability with strong ownership to deliver results

• Fluent in English, other languages advantageous
